 Williamstown village lies between Castlerea in county Roscommon and

 Tuam in county Galway. It is situated about 40 minutes from Athlone.

Williamstown is also less than 30 minutes from Knock airport and is

 about 50 minutes from Galway city, 20 minutes from Roscommon

 town, 40 minutes from Castlebar in county Mayo, Ballinasloe in Galway

 and Carrick On Shannon on the borders of counties Leitrim and

 Roscommon
